Commercial Project | Shower Facilities & Tiling Installation
Project Overview
FLOOR & WALL GMPC had the opportunity to contribute to a shower room renovation project at Aston Villa Football Club, delivering new tiled shower facilities for the club's football players.
The project involved creating a clean, functional and professionally finished shower environment designed around the daily requirements of a professional sporting facility.
Working within a space intended for regular use, particular attention was given to the wall and floor finishes, tile alignment and the overall appearance of the completed shower area.
A Practical Space Built for Everyday Use
Shower facilities within a professional football environment require a considered approach to materials and finishing.
Unlike a conventional residential bathroom, communal changing and shower areas accommodate frequent use and require surfaces that are practical to clean and maintain.
The design brings together neutral grey floor tiles, darker wall finishes and a coordinated layout that creates a contemporary, understated appearance.
The result is a spacious shower environment with a consistent visual identity.
Wall & Floor Tiling
A central element of the project was the installation of large-format wall and floor tiles throughout the shower area.
The lighter grey floor tiles provide a visual contrast against the darker surrounding walls, while the carefully aligned joints contribute to a clean, structured finish.
The completed space incorporates multiple individual shower positions arranged along the wall, creating a practical layout for players using the facilities.
